To put it lightly I have an unconventional approach to motherhood. I am a little Cosby Show and a little Mommie Dearest (I mean, who really likes wire hangers?!) I love my three kids and like any parent, I want the absolute best for them, which sometimes means things can get a little ugly.  My motto: no bickering, no talking back, no whining and nobody gets hurt.

In my former life I was a fabulous corporate fashionista juggling being a wife and a mom, spending all of my discretionary funds on clothes and accessories. Now that I am a stay at home mom, I still have a discerning eye for fashion but my budget has been derailed by college funds.

I don’t profess to be the best mom all of the time, but all of the time I am doing the best I can (well maybe not when The Good Wife is on.)

Motherhood comes with many ups and downs, highs and lows.  This blog is about my aha! and uh-oh moments!  As long as you promise not to judge me, we should get along just fine.
